There are plenty of eyeshadow finishes out there : matte, satin, metallic, shimmery, glittery. I own eyeshadows with all finishes except for the glittery one, because I don't like it, plus it's messy. My favorite finish has to be the metallic one! Metallic eyeshadows aren't flat like matte eyeshadows, but they're not so intense like shimmery or glittery eyeshadows. Eyeshadows with a satin finish come in the second place, I like them a lot too, but not as much as the metallic ones!
So, what's your favorite eyeshadow finish? ;) What do you reach for the most? :)

I love metallic but tend to reach out for satin more as they are kinda wearable on a day to day basis!!

Shimmery! But I also love metallic, they're beautiful. It's only glittery shadows I stay away from cos they are so messy!

ReplyDeleteSatin! Matte looks too obvious on me and glitter goes everywhere! Metallic are lovely but I have trouble finding ones that aren't too shiny. I do like shimmery ones but they make your lids look oily in pictures 0_O What is your favourite eyeshadow? :)

I like matte and satin mostly. But you know, it depends. If I'll go for a party, I like shimmer, for everyday make-up - matte. :)

ReplyDeleteI actually don't have faves because I haven't been wearing make-up for years, just a random eyeshadow now and then.. Currently I'm liking the texture of my Orglamix eyeshadow.. it's shimmery and I really like shimmery afterall! I used to like Maybelline eyeshadows.. I'm hoping the Sleek Storm pallete *wink* will be my first fave..! :)
