I've been so much into skincare lately and it's really funny if you think that I didn't even use moisturizer about 3 years ago!! So, here I come with another skincare review. This time it's about Avene Matifying Fluid Moisturizer and I will post a review on La Roche Rosay Effaclar M Sebo-Regulating Mattifying Moisturizer in the next few days, so that you can compare the two.
You propably know the deal by now..we'll start with the packaging lol ! This moisturizer comes in a really sleek packaging that's made of glass and it holds 50ml of product. It's a bit heavy, but it looks really nice and this type of packaging is more hygienic than plastic, so I won't complain. The thing I love the most though is the fact that this bottle comes with a pump. I hate face moisturizers that come in a jar and the squeezy tubes aren't much better, because I always get too much product out. Here's what the packaging looks like :
It looks expensive, doesn't it? Let's move on to the actual product now. The moisturizer is pretty fluid, as the name indicates, but it's not watery. It's more like a mix between cream and gel and it feels really nice on the skin, so refreshing and not greasy at all. It doesn't irritate my skin and it doesn't clog my pores. All in all it's a really nice product, the only disappointing thing is that I don't see any mattifying properties from it. When I apply it on my face my skin isn't matte, so if that's what you're looking for in your moisturizer, then this one isn't for you. Here's what the product looks like :
This moisturizer retails for about 19Euros and you get 50ml of product in a bottle with a pump (you don't waste product that way), so the price is quite reasonable. I think if you buy Avene products from Hondos Center (Hondos Center at Omonoia Square definitely has them) they're 10% off, so if you're around there you might wanna take a look! :)
P.S. It's really hard to blog when you're listening to "Loca" by Shakira, especially if you're trying to copy her moves at the same time!! Hahahaha! ♥
