2012 Favorites : Nail polishes, base coats, top coats etc.

Hey my beautiful nail polish lovers! Moving on with my 2012 favorites posts this one today will be all about my favorite nail polishes of 2012. I have many gorgeous nail polishes to show you, so let’s take a look! ;) I’m gonna do a post with swatches of all of my Essence nail polishes soon, so that you can see what they look like. Yes, you got it right, you’ll see many Essence nail polishes in this post lol, so let’s get going!

Revlon Facets of Fuchsia : I had been watching youtubers and bloggers raving about it for so long that I had to have it. Now that I have it I can understand why all this rave, it’s a beautiful black base nail polish with lots of fuchsia glitter particles. Apply it over a black nail polish for instant results! ;)

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat : I finally got it, I’m so late! I’ve only used it on my toes so far and it works great. My nail polish looks really shiny, it dries fast and it lasts for days. The drying fast factor is crucial, as it’s cold now and I can’t stand being without socks for ever waiting for my nail polish to dry, so the Seche Vite top coat has saved me!

Essence Colour & Go in 78 Blue Addicted : This gorgeous blue/teal/purple color has been discontinued unfortunately and I’ll be really sad when it’s gone.

Essence Nude Glam in 04 Iced Latte : I’m not a nude nail person in general, but I like this nude nail polish a lot! It doesn’t make me look dead or sick and it doesn’t make my nails look dirty. It’s a beautiful milky pink-beige

Essence Colour & Go in 76 Hard to Resist: Another discontinued nail polish… WHY Essence? Why? This is one of my favorite nail polishes ever and it looks amazing, especially under the sun. I’ve also heard that it’s a great dupe for Deborah Lippman’s Across the Universe. Please bring it back, I adore this nail polish!

Erre Due Exclusive in Nr. 1 : This came free with a magazine last year and I combined it with a silver star sticker, it looked like the sky at night. A lady even complimented my pedicure when I wore this! ;)

Seche Vite Crystal Clear Base Coat : I got this by accident lol! I was on ebay, trying to buy the top coat, and I bought this thinking it was the top coat. I hadn’t noticed that it said base coat. Anyway, I asked on a group what they thought of this base coat and several girls said that it was a good product, so I decided to keep it and I’m glad I did! It is indeed a good product, it keeps my nails from turning yellow.

Essence Colour & Go in 126 Date in the Moonlight: This is a gorgeous dark petrol blue with blue shimmer and it looks beautiful, especially under the sun!

Essence Gel Look Topcoat : This top coat makes my nail polish so shiny and it indeed makes my nails look like gel nails!! Definitely get it if you love shiny, gel-like nails!

Essence Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 in 01 Jacob’s Protection : I had a huge obsession with blue nail polishes in 2012, hadn’t I? lol Well, this nail polish is no exception, as it’s a gorgeous dark blue with blue shimmer and sometimes, depending on how the light hits it, it looks purple too!

Essence Nail Colour 3 in Midnight Date : I love all 6 nail polishes of this range, but the blue one is my favorite. The regular side is almost identical to the discontinued Colour & Go in 76 Hard to Resist that I mentioned above and the other side is a gorgeous flaky nail polish. It has a blue-purple base and green flakies! Definitely get it!

Sephora Express Nail Polish Remover : I don’t paint my fingernails often, but when I do this little thing totally saves me with nail polish removal. It’s so quick and easy! You just stick your finger in, rub it against the foamy material that’s inside and that’s it, your nail polish is gone!! Please Sephora make one for toes as well!

Have you tried any of these beautiful nail polishes? What were your favorite nail polishes for 2012? I’m always open to suggestions and I love trying out new things, although I own too many nail polishes lol!
